Course content
1. Definition and focus of statistical methods of process control (SPC). 2. Basic concepts in SPC, normal distribution, mean, standard deviation, other statistical distribution. 3. Data collection, random selection. Histograms. 4. Flow chart, responsibility matrix. 5. Pareto analysis and diagram. 6. Correlation analysis, correlation diagram. 7. Control diagram. 8. One-factor analysis of variance. 9. SIX SIGMA method.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the means and tools of quality management, to introduce students to the basics of statistical process control methods. Students will learn the principles of data collection and evaluation, get acquainted with the basics of using control charts as part of the procedures of regulation and quality improvement.
