Destructive testing of materials 8. Non-destructive testing of material properties 9. Current trends and methods in materials testing 8. Studying the structure of materials 9. Use of color contrast in the evaluation of materials 10. Chemical and mineralogical analysis of materials 11. Measurements and other physical properties

Learning outcomes
The course acquaints students with the main types, principles and possibilities of methods of destructive and non-destructive testing of materials. Students are acquainted with the equipment of testing mechanical, technological, physical and chemical properties of materials. When used on specific examples and students, they verify the possibilities and limit the individual methods of testing materials. The student is further acquainted with the standards valid in the field of materials testing. A separate chapter in the teaching shows the area of ??sample preparation for individual types of tests.
tudents will gain competencies in the field of materials testing different types of methods and procedures. On the basis of which they can determine the actual mechanical, physical and chemical properties of metal alloys both ferrous and non-ferrous.
