Nature and objectives of metrology in the past and present. Area action metrology and conformity with current legal standards, the CZ and the EU. Law on metrology CZ and its implementation in practice - metrological provisions for companies and organizations. Apparatus, equipment and measurement units in manufacturing companies. Nature and the need for calibration and verification of measuring instruments, equipment and instruments.

Prerequisites
|
Students will learn with measurement methodology, statistical calculations determining errors and uncertainties. These students apply knowledge in research and within their undergraduate theses and subsequently doctoral work.
