Course content
1. Ministry of Industry and Trade No. 264/2000 Coll., basic units and other units and their labeling 2. Distribution of gauges and their linkage to the state etalons 3. Legislation to ensure uniformity and accuracy of measuring instruments and measuring and setting the meter to the debtor subject to verification and approval 4. Technical requirements on measuring instruments and non-automatic weighing under Government Regulation 5. Internal and external calibration 6. Metrological requirements of ISO 9000:2001 management systems and measurement of ČSN EN ISO 10012:2003 7. Marking and recording gauges 8. Metrological maintenance of EMS 9. Uncertainty of measurement, direct and indirect measurement variables (temperature, weight, length, time) 10. Setting recalibrating intervals, determine the duration of the calibration

Nature and objectives of metrology in the past and present. Area action metrology and conformity with current legal standards, the CZ and the EU. Law on metrology CZ and its implementation in practice - metrological provisions for companies and organizations. Apparatus, equipment and measurement units in manufacturing companies. Nature and the need for calibration and verification of measuring instruments, equipment and instruments.

Prerequisites
Students will learn with measurement methodology, statistical calculations determining errors and uncertainties. These students apply knowledge in research and within their undergraduate theses and subsequently doctoral work.
