Learning outcomes
The course deals with the development of composite materials, nature and distribution of composite materials into basic types, characteristics, properties, utilization and production technology. It also deals with the definition of composite materials, the variables defining the properties of composites, structural composites division. Particle composites and their distribution. Fibre composites, fibers, matrices, powders, their properties and uses. A significant part of this course composites with metal and polymer matrix and their production and various applications of composites in transport (aviation, automotive).
Students acquire skills and knowledge in the field of development, characteristics and types of composites used.
