The course acquaints students with the basic terminology in the field of CAx technologies, with their division and with the integration and use of individual applications within the manufacturing company. Course contents 1. Introduction to automation of pre-production and production stages. 2. Computer-assisted CAx systems. 3. System overview of CAx systems. 4. CAD, CAM, CAD / CAM. 5. TPV - its automation and computer support. 6. CAPP. 7. CAE. 8. Other CAx systems. 9. Rapid Prototyping.
