1. Introduction - division of NDT methods, defects of materials and products. 2. Visual methods - introduction, visual inspection, evaluation of defects. 3. Magnetic and electromagnetic methods - introduction, principles, design, evaluation. 4. Capillary methods - introduction, principle, division, means, procedures, devices. 5. Ultrasound tests - introduction, principle, methods, procedures, equipment. 6. Radiation - introduction, principle, methods, procedures, equipment. 7. Method of scattering flows - introduction, principle, methods, procedures, equipment. 8. Eddy current method - introduction, principle, methods, procedures, equipment. 9. Learning outcomes |
Within the course, students will get acquainted with the methods of non-destructive testing of materials. They will gain theoretical and practical knowledge of basic methods of non-destructive material testing and operational diagnostics. Description of methods of non-destructive testing of materials and products, including their physical principles in accordance with the standard ČSN EN ISO 9712.
? The student will gain knowledge of instrumentation in defectoscopy, its use and proper application. ? The student will expand the ability to identify defects and ways to prevent them, solve production problems and complaints. The student masters the legislation associated with the accredited laboratory. |
