The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the basic principles of heat transfer and mass momentum. Equation of Continuity and Navier-Stoces Equation and its Modification. Heat transfer through conduction, convection and radiation. Heat transfer in state change and multi-component systems. Mass transfer by diffusion.
