Course content
1.The introduction to EIA. The legislative framework (the laws n. 17/92 Sb., 244/92 Sb. a č. 100/2001 Sb. with all the supplements). 2.The documentation of EIA. The procedures, entitled individuals, the obligatory content of the documentation, public access, NGOs. 3.The methods and procedures of EIA. 4.The assesment of the air pollution extent. Stray capacity studies. 5.Landscape and landcape character protection in EIA. 6.The assessment of soil and mineral pollution extent. 7.The assessment of surface water and groundwater pollution. 8.The assessment of waste management technologies impact on the environment. 9.The assessment of noise pollution from industrial and transportation constructions. 10. The assessment of the documentation and reports. 11.The ecological audit, the relation between the report and the audit, the role of the audit within the assessment of industrial bodies. 12.The assessment of specific concepts, EIA and cross-border assessment.
