Course content
The student gets an overview of the definition of the term brownfield and its various definitions and concepts of understanding, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. They will get acquainted with different categories of brownfields, with the possibilities of financing their regeneration. Part of the course is a summary of obstacles in the regeneration of brownfields and the approaches of public administration and the private sector in solving them. The student gets to know the examples of brownfields in the landscape, not only on the example of the Podkrusnohori landscape. It will deal with environmental aspects and views on the regeneration of brownfields not only in urban areas, but also in the landscape. Brownfield - positive and negative externalities. Examples of brownfields regeneration abroad.
