Learning outcomes
In the English course, the emphasis is put on extending the language knowledge with specialization in the given field of study. The aim is to improve the students' orientation in the language, their ability to use the gained knowledge correctly in difficult professional situations, to be able to respond, and to extend their vocabulary. The course is supplemented by information and topical subjects from the students' field of study. Students are able to communicate fluently in English about their work and their field of study. They can describe and explain his intentions and characterize their artworks and approaches their work is based on. They are capable of professional conversation and written communication in the foreign language. Students are able to speak publicly, discuss and analyze a professional topic in the foreign language and can offer their skills in communication with foreign institutions and individuals. Classes in individual weeks of the semester are flexible and subject to the individual needs of students and depend on their current creative activities.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
