Course content
Seminar topics: Methodical training of swimming methods crawl, emblem, breast, bow tie. Methodical training of basic and disc turns crawl and emblem. Methodical training of breast and bowl turns. Methodical training of starting jumps of all four swimming methods. Methodical training in the basics of water rescue. Correcting technical deficiencies and increasing personal performance level.

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the theoretical and practical mastery of swimming freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, turns and starts swimming in accordance with the rules of the sports of swimming, as well as to master the basics of water rescue. Students will acquire basic performance levels in swimming methods and technical levels without serious errors.
Proving the knowledge and skills: Students completing the course: ? able to achieve basic levels of performance in swimming ways ? able to demonstrate the technique of swimming skills and without major mistakes ? be able to define key positions in individual swimming cycles ? practically and theoretically master the basics of water rescue, ? familiar with the basic terminology of the sport of swimming, ? able to use the acquired competences for further possible expansion of knowledge and skills in the subject, ? have an overview of the rules of swimming by FINA.
Prerequisites
Master the basics of swimming race at least three ways.
