Circuits: - Subject of study of personality psychology and description of the history of the development of the discipline - Issues of personality structure and dynamics - Temperament, abilities, - Cognitive personality styles, - Motivational disposition, - Character - Issues of self-concept and personality integrity - Intelligence - Challenging life situation - Main theoretical approaches to the study of personality - Psychoanalytic theories including Ego analysis and neopsychoanalysis - Holistic and humanistic approaches and theories of personality - Trait and typological theories of personality - Behaviorist approach and the contribution of learning theories to the study of personality - Social-cognitive theory of personality - Other personality theories (phenomenological, transpersonal, etc.)

Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to gain insight into the studied topics of personality psychology, i.e. into structure, dynamics, development personalities, issues SELF and identity formation. In addition to the internal image of personality, attention is paid to individual theoretical approaches to personality and their main theories.
The student can: explain the logic of the development of the discipline, explain and describe the basic components of the personality structure, decisive aspects of its dynamics and the development of personality integrity. Can characterize the main theoretical approaches to the study of personality and the main theories that represent the given approach.
