Course content
Content: 1. Introduction to the issue, course content, credit requirements, use of exercise units, study literature. 2.- 8. Examples of teaching units focused on dance-movement training. Each unit according to the structure of the PE lesson contains: -warm up in the form of a dance game, a simple dance to music, -stretching using motivational terminology a -dance training, including the acquisition of dance movements and steps (emphasis on guided conscious movement), in the process we include exercises for the development of coordination skills and exercises for proper posture Each unit touches on a different dance style, such as folk dances, with Latin-am. tuning, stage and modern dance, etc.). 9.- 13. Fulfillment of credit requirements (demonstration of selected choreographies and plays accompanied by music). 14. Granting credits, use in practice, consultations on the issue.

Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to dance education suitable for preschool children. It focuses on working with music, distinguishing rhythmic units in relation to dance-movement training, contains basic dance steps, composed of light choreography, dance games and exercises with music, oriented to the correct posture. Exercises for the development of coordination skills in particular / flexibility, balance, etc. and exercises for the acquisition of basic motor skills in dance sport in the form of motivational terminology are used. An important element is the practice of guiding the body and its individual parts accompanied by music. All exercises are presented in accordance with the structure of the teaching unit. During the semester, students demonstrate a successfully performed dance game or light choreography suitable for preschool children and submit written preparation.
The student will gain an overview of selected dance styles, can demonstrate the dance steps of selected dances, can accompany the unit with rhythmic exercises, games, compensatory exercises and sets suitable for teaching in kindergarten as part of movement and dance education.
