Course content
Topics of lectures and seminars: 1. History of outdoor management training (OMT) 2. Current situation in the field - organizations that deal with OMT 3. Methods and principles used in OMT 4. Objectives of OMT 5. The work team as a specific social group, functional and team roles 6. The possibilities of OMT in influencing the roles in the team, the position of the manager and the team leader 7. Use of other professions in OMT (psychologist, personnel consultant, etc.) 8. Appropriate program components in OMT 9. Program offer, necessary components of the offer, content and form 10. Procedures for designing a specific program offer 11. Work with the customer to define course objectives, content and conditions 12. Practical proposal of a program for a specific company, with a specific goal Study information: The study is designed in the form of one introductory meeting followed by a two-day weekend concentration. In particular, the compulsory study literature and study supports listed at the address: https://moodle.pf.ujep.cz/view.php?id=398 are used for studying. The student completes the same credit conditions, a final credit test and a seminar project. The introductory seminar familiarizes students with the content of the course, introduces them to mandatory and recommended literature and study supports. Subsequently, the necessary foundations will be discussed, which the students will build on through self-study with the help of literature and supports. Topics for self-study: - The current situation in the field - organizations that deal with OMT - will take place in the form of market research using the presentations of individual companies on their websites - Advantages and limits of OMT, possibilities of using OMT - History of outdoor management training, sources and typical features of Czech OMT - The use of other professions in OMT (psychologist, personnel consultant, etc.), the personality of the lecturer The weekend concentration follows on from the introductory meeting and, using the knowledge acquired through self-study, students will acquire the necessary knowledge to pass the final theoretical test and especially to prepare the seminar project. Contact with students is also ensured through the website of the workplace (http://www.pf.ujep.cz/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=287&Itemid=979). Assignment and submission of works via https://moodle.pf.ujep.cz. Communication with the teacher by e-mail, arranging personal consultations with the teacher. The school's information system is used to record study results.

Learning outcomes
Outdoor management training is an attractive and effective training method for building and cementing teams, developing managerial and work skills, motivating individuals and teams, and evaluating employees. During the course, students will get to know the basic procedures and strategies for using adventure elements in the preparation of courses for management teams. This area can also be used by consultants, trainers and organizers of company event activities.
The student will gain an overview of the possibilities of applying the acquired knowledge and skills to the field of corporate education and management.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the subject Facilitation skills and group dynamics. Knowledge of pedagogy, psychology and knowledge of the subject Experiential pedagogy.
