Course content
Data collection and evaluation of the research project of FTK Olomouc. Distribution of questionnaires and application of pedometers. Students will be familiar with work with a questionnaire and simple device for evaluation of movement activity. Basic record of figures is assumed. Work is completely independent and can be carried out regardless the students´ timetable. The course is focused on gaining knowledge about research work in the field of kinanthropology. The basis is a brief introduction to the possibilities of construction of research projects, application of empirical and theoretical research methods, the possibility of selecting research files, the method of formulating hypotheses and critical assessment of phenomena. Part of the course is the application of research methods in research surveys or participation in larger-scale surveys, which is guaranteed by the selected KTVS teacher. As part of completing the course, skills of data registration, interpretation of obtained survey results, skill of their evaluation and formulation of conclusions are also required. Work with databases and other professional sources is also expected. The course is designed as a starting point for an adequate way of designing and solving qualification work. The work is: a) completely independent and can be implemented regardless of the schedule according to the possibilities of the student. Upon reaching a certain level of work performed, a scholarship may be awarded, b) or the student participates in the implementation of research in the field in cooperation with the research guarantor and carries out the type of work that is necessary to fulfill the task of the workplace or research team.

Learning outcomes
The subject is focused on knowledge of research work in kinanthropology. Make students familiar with possibilities of research project construction, application of empirical and theoretical research methods, selection of research group, hypothesis formulation and critical evaluation. Application of the research methods to minor researches or participation on bigger research. Skills at data record, interpratation of results and conclusion formulation. Work with databases and other sources. The subject is a basis for the bachelor thesis. The aim of the course is to master a logical, scientific solution to a problem in the field of kinanthropology. Students will get acquainted with the ethics of research, the norm and customs of the formal arrangement of a scientific report and can also gain knowledge from working with professional sources.
Acqusition of logic, scientific problem-solving in kinanthropology is the main objective. Students will be familiar with research ethics, norm and customs of formal layout of the report.
