Content of the subject during semester. Theoretical seminars: 1 - 2. Technique and biomechanics of hurdles run. Technique and biomechanics of high jump - flop 3 - 4. Technique and biomechanics of shot put. Technique and biomechanics of discus throw. 5 - 6. Athletic rules. 7 - 8. Written test from theory (technique - biomechanics of disciplines) and athletic rules. Practical lessons: 9 - 10. Methods for practising hurdles run. 11 - 12. Methods for practising shot put, back technique. 13 - 14. Methods for practising hurdles run. 15 - 16 Technique and methods for practising shot put - back technique, information to rotation. 17 - 18. Methods for practising high jump. 19 - 20. Methods for practising high jump. 20 - 21. Methods for practising discus throw. 21 - 22. Methods for practising discus throw. 23 - 24. Technique and methods for practising shot put - rotation. 25 - 26. Practical credit requirements. 27 - 28. Practical credit requirements, reparative term for the test from theory and athletic rules. Content of the subject Theoretical seminars: 1. Athletic technology. 2. Preparation and organisation of athletic competitions and athletic pentathlon. 3. Analysis of student´s own technique of selected athletic disciplines - video. 4. Analysis of student´s own technique of selected athletic disciplines - video. Practical lessons: 5. Methods for practising power walking. 6. Individual technique improvement. 7. Individual technique improvement. 8 - 9. To organise, to referee and to participate during selected competitions - in high jump, power walking, relay race, hurdle race. 10 - 14. To organize and to pass athletic pentathlon.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this study-unit is focused on mastering techniques and methodology of training other selected athletic events including introductory and imitation exercises. It is necessary to demonstrate the technical level and performance. As part of the preparation and practical leadership lessons special athletic warm up for athletic disciplines including compensation exercise. In the practical part the course is further realized by the preparation and organization of selected athletic competitions and athletics combined events. In the theoretical part, students learn the basics of technique; biomechanics included athletic disciplines and rules of athletics. This part ends with a written test of the theory and rules of athletics.
After passing this subject the student: - Is able to perform and to assess the right technique. - Has theoretical knowledge from technique and biomechanics and athletic rules. - Knows the proceeding methods for improving athletic skills. - Can form and lead special athletic warm-up including compensatory exercises focused on individual discipline. - Uses basic athletic terminology. - Can organise and referee athletic competition for children and youth. - Can properly assess technique and measure the performance according to athletic rules. - Will prove the basic achievement in selected disciplines.

Preparation and leading of special athletic warm-up or part of the lesson. Written test from theory and athletic rules. To hand over written preparation - realization of competition. Preparation, referee and passing the athletic pentathlon. To hand over written preparation for pentathlon and adjudicating of discipline. Organisation and adjudicating of athletic competition. Achievement: high jump, shot put, 800 m W, 1500 m M, 100 m hurdles M, 60 m hurdles W Technique: high jump - flop, shot put - back technique - information to rotation, to go over 3 hurdles (76cm W, 84 cm M), discus throw Achievement limits: men women High jump 145 cm 120 cm Shot put (6,25) 8,20 m 7,0 m 800/1500 m 3:30 min. 5:25 min. 100 m hurdles 18,0 sec. (84 ) 60 m hurdles 12,5 sec. (76) To execute given pentathlon limit: (100 m, long jump, shot put, high jump, 1500 m) Category MEN WOMEN 1900 points 1500 points
