Course content
Content: Beginning and organization of teaching, credit requirements, introduction to the subject, study literature. Athletic warm-up, exercises for training walking and swinging. Exercises for a treadmill run. Exercises for vertical jump. Exercises for horizontal jump. Exercise on obstacles. Exercises for estimation development. Entering methodological outputs. 9.-12. Methodical outputs. 13. Evaluation of teaching and methodological outputs, granting credits.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of athletic activities that are suitable for preschool children. Students will get acquainted with appropriate activities and exercises with which we can develop basic motor skills in children. At the same time, they will get acquainted with the principles of development of motor skills in preschool children. Students will also learn activities that serve to acquire basic athletic skills. They will get acquainted with the methodology of training basic athletic activities, with the most common mistakes in their implementation and also with the exercises that are used to eliminate them.
Student after completing the course -is able to correctly demonstrate the technique of selected athletic activities, - has theoretical knowledge in the field of development of motor skills for preschool children, -correctly applies procedures for the acquisition of selected athletic skills and the development of motor skills, -can compile and lead athletic warm-up, -uses basic athletic terminology, -can correctly assess the technique of performing athletic activities in children, -in the methodological output demonstrates the ability to lead and organize the exercise unit in a group of children.
