Course content
. Aims and motivation in fitness. Basic proceeding and principles. Material equipment. 2. List of exercises - workout with bodyweight focused on upper and lower limbs, trunk and complex exercises. 3. List of exercises - workout with small tools (medicine balls, expandor, TRX and others.) 4. List of exercises - workout on machines with one-arm dumbbells. 5. Listo of exercises - workout with loading barbells (body-building, weight lifting, strength triathlon) 6. Circular training and methods for strength endurance development. 7. Body-building methods (repeating, pyramid, superset, tripleset, gigantic set and others.) 8. Methods of maximal and fast strength development 9. Methods of explosive strength development. Plyometric method, take-off exercises. 10. Application of strength training into individual sport branches. 11. Regeneration, nutrition and compensatory exercises in strength training. 12. Formation of training body-building programmes for youth, performance and top level athletes. 13 - 14. Credits.

Learning outcomes
Students will know bodyweight exercises, with small tools, loading machines and free weights. They will learn the basic methods of developing strength abilities. On the basis of this knowledge will be able to build fitness-training program for different age and ability groups.
The student is able to use gained knowledge for programmes realization focused on workout. The student can apply workout exercises in sport preparation for other sport branches.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
