Course content
1. Subject introduction classification of games, competitions and entertaining exercises, games in ontogeny of a human, movement games development based on beginning and development of particular cultures, classification of physical education games, their effect on personality development. The usage of physical aducation games in different kinds of teaching lesson. Assignment of methodical exercises. Games demonstrations presented by the educator. 2. Demonstrations and practical exercises of Physical Educaton Games presented by the educator. 3. Students ´ methodical exercises on specific item. 4. Learning outcomes
The aim of the of teaching is to familiarise students with the use of games as an important educational phenomenon, a tool to develop and improve motor skills. The content of teaching is mainly through methodical practical session in which student receives the ability to prepare and organise a required lesson in accordance with a specified issues. Knowledge of the issues should reach a level to allow proper management of lesson or training.
The student is able to implement a spectrum of small movement games, he knows how to compose and select them appropriately. He is aware of the role of small movement games (races, battles) in the process of personality socialization. It has created a stack of games as a basis that can be used in movement (large) or sports games. Can prepare and lead a part of the exercise unit with the content of small movement games. He orients himself in the basic terminology of games, races, battles. He can specify the basic skill limits of the participants, establish the necessary spatial and material conditions for running the selected games.
