Course content
1. Introduction (information and data, information and communication technologies). 2. Internet, information retrieval and data retrieval. 3. Cloud services. 4-6. Text processor creation and editing of a structured text document (formatting, typographical principles, effective quoting, versioning, sharing and collaborating). 7-9. Table processor - basic and advanced functions, creation of "database", data processing and presentation of results. 10. Creating schematics and diagrams. 11-12. Creating more digital material (video, audio, web, ). 13-14. Presentation of self-learning outcomes.

Learning outcomes
The subject provides students with the basic knowledge and skills needed to use information and communication technologies in their studies and routine practice. Students get basic user skills to work with ICT. The aim of the subject is to emphasise the ability to self-apply appropriate techniques, methods, technical means and programmes specific to the professional experience of graduates. This includes familiarisation with the specifics of the creation of qualification work (typographical principles, working with citation managers, etc.) and statistical data processing.
Students will familiarise themselves with up-to-date information technology and communication platforms for education and learn how to use them on practical examples.

Basic digital literacy (ICT work).
