Course content
Theoretical part: 1st segment ethics of martial arts, acting, behavior, safety of operation 2nd segment meeting basic martial arts (dividing, history) 3rd segment rules of selected martial arts 4th segment organization and operation of competitions in martial arts Practical part: 5th segment gymnastics in martial arts, falling techinque 6th segment training martial arts, martial arts games 7th segment basics of judo (posture Ogoshi) 8th segment basics of judo (posture, Osotogari) 9th segment basics of judo (ground, holding Kasagatame) 10th segment basics of judo (ground, choking hold, locking) 11th segment basics of box (posture, motion, boxing hits) 12th segment basics of box (defending) 13th segment development of motional skills needed in martial arts (endurance, speed, strenght, agility) 14th segment relaxation

Learning outcomes
The aim of the study-unit is to introduce basic resistance excercises techniques in exercise (pressures, pulling, resistance, resistance games) with a stalling technique and selected resistance techniques in exercise. The content of teaching are manily practical activities. Knowledge of the issues should reach such a degree as to enable the use of resistance technique in training or teaching process. The aim is also to equip students with a basic knowledge of the resistance excercises in groups and at various skill levels.
Student after completing the course: - Is able to organize operationing of selected spectra of martial arts - Is able to define key spots to improve skills in selected martial activities and explain reasons of his possible interventions in the context of cultivation of these skills - Can prepare and lead training unit of martial arts - Can use transfer from other martial activities - Is able to apply variable operation of martial arts with respect to the skill level of participants and space conditions - Is well oriented in basic terminology of martial arts - Is able to define presumptions for succesfull martial arts operationing - Is able to use his gaind competences for further deepening of his knowledge and skills in this issue - Can specify basic skill limits of participants, provide needed spatial and material conditions for operationing martial arts - Has an overview about institucional safety of martial arts operationing - Is able to describe possibilities of influencing participants through martial arts in the sence of motion skills development - Is able to demonstrate selected disciplines of martial arts

Active participation during teaching (80 %). Accomplishment of following credits requirements. Practical part: Resistant Exercises´ gymnastics - rolls line, falling technigue - demonstration, methodical practise, basic resistance exercises - pressure exercs., pulls, resistance exercs., judo - basic hold-downs - demonstrations, practise technique, box - hits in box, practise technique Theoretical part: History and basic division of resistant exercises, importance of reistant exercises today, ethics, legal regulations in resistant exercises, seminar paper: written preparation for teaching lesson in selected resistant exercises.
