Themes of lessons: 1. Organization matters (acquaint students with the curriculum, credit requirements and basic literature) 2. Learning outcomes

The aim of the study unit is to learn and improve fundamentals o individual games, game combinations and gaming systems in a term of the match, knowledge of basic terminology (attitude, position, turn, etc.), knowledge of a graphic marking and fundamentals of decision during a match.
Student is able to apply individual handball activities, combinations and game systems during the game and arbitring a game. He is also able to diagnose primary movements of physical activities which affect and determine its quality and efficiency.

Knowledge of basic rules of handball, handball mastered the basic game skills.

Assessment methods and criteria

1. Attendance 80 % 2. Examination of handball rules, terminology and graphic marking of game situations. 3. Game performance 4. Arbitring the game 5. Practical test: a) 2,3,4 count after the pass (straight forward and drop to the goal area) Evaluation: technique of execution b) 2,3,4 count after multiple dribbling (straight forward and drop to the goal area) Evaluation: technique of execution c) Dribbling: slalom between 4 (3x back and forth) Evaluation: technique of execution, time: men - max. 22 s women - max. 24 s d) Complex test: 2 balls ar at the free-throw line, student stands in the goal area, runs out, collects the ball, breaking himself free, dribbles through the middle of the field to the half distance line, goes around the base, goes back and passes the ball, returns to the goal area line (touches it), goes for the second ball, releases himself again, driblles through the entire field and shoots after 3count, dropping in the goal area. Evaluation: technique of execution, time men - max. 13,8 s women - max. 15,0 s e) Scoring goal from distance 23 m - men,19 m - women. Evaluation: effectiveness 5/4 (ball has to fall to ground behind the goal line)
