Course content
Topics of seminars: - Introduction into problematics possible use of roping activities. Meaning and using of rope obstacles in different areas of human activities (lifesaving, military, teambuilding educational, therapeutic, etc) - Origin and development of rope obstacles, technology and material equipment - Safety standards of rope obstacles according to EU standards, ecological aspects of fabrication. - Practical meeting of basic knots usable when creating rope obstacles. - Material safety. Working with rope and supportive material. - Specifics of creating obstacles on trees or pales. - Specifics of movement on obstacles, help,saving - Belaying and saving techniques used on rope obstacles - Structure and construction of low rope obstackles (different types) - Methodical leading of an event, types of possible uses of rope obstacles - Preparing a project about selected topic - Methodics of leading a program, model situations. - First aid and its specifics on rope obstacles, ecological and environmental issue. - Realization of a prepared project

Learning outcomes
The aim of the study-unit is to familiarize students with the use of rope activities and issues building rope obstacles including moving them, methods of management actions and possible protection. The course is teaching specific skills and knowledge of working with rope and building and construction of low and high rope obstacles. Trade theory focuses on the history, techniques and methods of construction and movement of obstacles, teaching methodology, equipment and new technologies. Emphasis is placed on safety standards in the areas that are in the Czech Republic and the EU. The program of the study-unit is also essential ecological aspect related to the proper conduct of people in sensitive locations. Rated the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students in a written project preparation and subsequent implementation.
Student after completing the course: - Knows possibilities of using and operationing rope activities - Knows and handles basic techniques of construction - Is able to make basic rope obstacles according to recommended procedures. - Knows safety standards and he acts with regard to ecological principles when choosing a place, construction and operationing of rope activities. - Is able to provide professional help, belaying and saving - Knows critical spots during the process - Is able to organize an operation on rope activities

Active participation in seminars (80%), presentation prepared by the project and construction of rope obstacles within a defined plan according to safety standards.
