Course content
Course contents: Mastering the theory and practice of winter tourism, acquiring the skills and knowledge of various forms of winter hiking, snowshoes, bakcountry, including avalanche prevention, solving the crisis situations in the field of bivouacation, provision of pre-medical first aid in the field and wounding of the wounded, Form of the course: stay at the cottage or several day trips in a selected mountain area. Emphasis is placed primarily on good preparation, safety, tactics and orientation in running the team in difficult winter conditions.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire skills and knowledge of various forms of winter tourism, skis, snowshoes, bakcountry, including avalanche prevention, solution of birch crisis situations, provision of pre-medical first aid in the field,
Student is able to: - Plan, implement, and lead a group on the hill in the conditions of the winter unspoiled mountains. - manage the basics of avalanche prevention - optimally plan the tour with respect to the objective hazards of the winter mountains and adjust to the avalanche prevention principles. - Perform an effective rescue after filling an individual or group, provide first aid and improvised transport. - able to spend the night, eventually. unfavorable mountain conditions in the form of an emergency bivouac overnight.
