Course content
Master the specific skills and knowledge in the conditions of rivers with suitable conditions for rafting and canoeing on rough water (Austria, Slovenia, ?). It includes a very hard form of training which is suitable for students with basic skills at water tourism and canoeing. The whole-day actions include sailing down the parts of a river which correspond to the current skills to ensure the development of the skills. Emphasis is put on preparation, safety, tactics and orientation in difficult conditions and specifics of rescue in rough water. The basic ecological aspects related to the appropriate behaviour in the natural sensitive conditions are the part of the program. The course is a follow-up to the basic courses of outdoor activities. The meaning of the course is to create the specific experience, self-reflection and deepen the knowledge of the stay in hard conditions.
