Course content
|
The course is mastery of theory and practice ice climbing, ie. Application-specific skills and knowledge of winter conditions in the mountains, usually High Tatras or Alps. Emphasis is placed on good preparation, safety, tactics and guidance in challenging winter conditions of the mountains. - Basics of climbing in the ice ax mačkách - Protection in ice and mixed terrain - The creation of safety position - Tactics climbing in a pair and a larger group - Basics of avalanche prevention, addressing emergency and other specific skills.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to create specific experiences, reflection, deepening and broadening of knowledge about living and moving in challenging mountain conditions. Acquisition of specific skills and knowledge in terms of mountains. Emphasis is placed especially on good preparation, safety, tactics and orientation in challenging conditions of the mountains. The program includes basic ecological aspects related to appropriate behavior in sensitive natural environments.
The student masters the basic skills and knowledge associated with winter mountaineering, especially climbing, belaying and other necessary equipment, including 1.pomocia avalanche prevention.
