Course content
Themes of the lectures: (always 2 lessons together): Specific fields of motor games 1. Classification of motor games, division, terminology, cooperation and competition in sports games, dimensional relations in sports games, content of sports games (game skills, activity of individual player, game combinations, and game systems). Game achievement, team game achievement. Determinants of team game achievement, Methodical organizational forms. 2. Motor game and its role and its possibilities in human ontogenesis. Sports games as a socio economic phenomenon. The role of motor game in human socialization. Game as educational instrument (fair play, experience, conflict, relations in group during game). Sports game as an expression of national cultures. 3. The conception for teaching sports games, alternative conceptions of teaching Sports games. Selected aspects of motion control during motor games. The importance of senses on achievement during game or game activity. Selected problems of motor learning in sports game. Experience in sports game, transfer assertion. Automaticity, similarity, generalizationí). Assessment of game skill´s level. Problems of quantitative and qualitative research in sports game. 4. Motor games for handicapped people and for integrated P.E. Games based on rebound of playing object - tchoukball, trangleball, squash. 5. Motor sports games from other cultures or games applied abroad. Americal football, games similar to rugby. Batting games cricet, baseball, softball, methodical output in betting games. Faustball. 6. Development of motor sports games in condition of the Czech Republic: badminton, frisbee ultimate, softtenis, lacrosse, intercross, curling. Football: (2) - Development and rules interpretation. Football origin and development, world and Czech football organizations, development of game systems, actual game systems, football content classification of game activities, combinations and systems, mini football forms (futsal-indoor football, mini football, futsal FIFA, beach football), conditions of teaching process, football within the frame of school P.E. Motor learning in fooball, important points for skills development. Voleyball: (2) - Didactics aspects of volleyball practise, volleyball at schools, classification of game activities, history of volleyball, volleyball as a sport branch. Basketball: (2) - Development and today´s basketball conception, basketball classification, graphical illustration of game situations, other forms of basketball (minibasketbal, streetball, game 1x1, etc.). Handball: (2) - Development and today´s handball conception, handball classification, graphical illustration of game situations, specificity of Czech (national) handball. Seminars and practical lessons: (always 2 lessons together): 1. - 3. Information and development of skills connected with games, which can be used in the terms of recreational activites. 4. 14. Methodical outputs focused on skills development and leading the selected motor acitivity. Emphasis is put on referee in individual sport games. Learning outcomes
The aim of the study-unit is to provide students with knowledge about the game as a social phenomenon as well as their role in the development of the individual, to acquaint students with learning game skills, taxonomies theory completed games to games that are in our country run less frequently or are unusual. Some of them can be expected to further possible outcome studies or training outside the land of the faculty of sports associations and obtaining qualifications coaches or referees for the contribution of these unions. Demonstrate knowledge of the exam should be the result of long-term influence listeners in the area of physical activities.
After passing this subject the student: - Is able to organize lesson with all the games that were taught, - Can referee a match according to the rules, - Can organize training unit including suitable organism preparation for the load, - Can assess his/her training unit or lesson, - Can define important points for improving the game skills in selected games, - Can prepare and lead the lessons that are focused on games, - Can use the transfer from other motor games and can find connection among them, - Is able to use the game in consideration of game skills´ level of participants and of spatial and material conditions. - Knows the basic terminology of selected games, knows how to teach the games and the corresponding game skills. - Can define needed condition for successful lesson of selected games. - Can use the gained competences for further knowledge and skill development connected with this issue, - Can specify the skills limits of participants, can specify needed spatial and material conditions for teaching the selected games, - Knows about institutional security for teaching the games, - Can describe how to influence the participants through the games how to develop their motor abilities and how to socialize people through the games. - Can demonstrate selected game skills. - Is able to apply his/her knowledge from the research into sport games field.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation during lessons. To referee successfully in selected motor games. To pass theoretical test from rules, techniques, tactics and methodology of presented non-traditional sports games. Credit requirements: 1. Leading warming up exercises according to the schedule. 2. To be able to referee properly and to participate during lessons organisation. 3. To prepare and to realize methodical output and theoretical work. Requirements for exam: To pass all subjects connected with motor games
