Course content

Subjects of lectures: Cyclotourism code of leading the group, equipment, safety Motion games and exercises in natuure systematics, types of games, code of games Orienteering principles of orienting in landscape, special maps for orienteering, map key Practical exercises: Cycling riding skills Driving with group I (35km) II (50km) III (130km). Trip is organized by students Games and exercises in nature I and II (2 blocks of 2,5 h) Orienteering work with a map (1:10 000) in landscape. Orientation games and competitions. Pilot competition. Hiking 6 hours trip in nature in the area of Český ráj including KPZ.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to master the skills that are tied to residence and movement in nature. Students will learn various forms of tourism with an emphasis on cycling, orienteering, camping skills, games, competitions and exercise in nature. They will be notified of the specifics of movement in the natural environment and the risks that there may encounter. The course will be information on how citizens can help in unexpected situations in the natural environment. The aim of the course is classroom management and organization team of individuals at various outdoor activities.
After passing the course, student: - Is able to prepare and organize cyclotouristic event for group of 12 persons - Is able to prepare, organize, decide and evaluate orienteering competition according to the valid rules of orienteering - Organize small motion games according to linkup and understanding of group dynamics - Prepare and organize a touristic action of middle extent (half a day)
