Course content
1. Introduction, credit requirements, study literature, principles of safety. Basic swimming skills - developing a sense of the water, swimming breathing deep. 2. Basic swimming skills - the merging of the two positions, balance exercises and orientation in the water. 3. Falls and jumps from the edge of the pool, practice jumping headlong jump to a starting block. 4. Teaching crawl swimming style. 5. Improving the way swimming crawl, swing. 6. Teaching swimming breaststroke. 7. Improving swimming breaststroke, rev. 8. Teaching swimming style symbols. 9. Improvement of swimming style character turnaround. 10. Teaching swimming style butterfly. 11. Improving butterfly swimming stroke. 12. Special swimming preparation for the rescue of drowning and personal attention. 13. Check the degree requirements, improving swimming skills. 14. Evaluation of teaching - fulfillment of requirements.

Learning outcomes
The study unit is focused in theoretical and practical mastery of swimming styles, as a front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly stroke, turns during swimming and starts in an accordance with the rules of swimming, as well as to master the basics of water rescue. Students will acquire basic performance levels in swimming methods and technical levels without serious errors.
Student after completing the course: - able to achieve a basic level of performance in swimming, - able to demonstrate the technique of swimming skills and no major faults - be able to define key positions in individual swimming cycles - practically and theoretically master the basics of water rescue, - be familiar with the basic terminology of the sport of swimming, - use acquired skills for possible future expansion of knowledge and skills in the subject, - has an overview of the rules according to FINA swimming.

Master the basics of swimming race at least three ways.
