Course content
1. Apply for lessons, get to know a content, safety, lessons organising, basics of climbing movements. 2. Review of safety rules connected with its own climbing and belaying, get to know material, basic work with material - tying up, belaying. 3. Review ( putting on harness, figure eight, belay with descender), practise of belay in pairs. 4. Warm up, training exercises for climbing, review of belay, climbinig in pairs - check of correct belay and tying up. 5. Warm up, training exercises, climbing in pairs, pick up diffiulty gradually. 6. Warm up, traning exercises improving climbing technique., climbing in pairs. 7. Warm up, get to know boulder wall, climbing in pairs, final stretching. 8. Get to know other types of belay gears and other ways of tying up, abseiling, Prussik`s technique. 9. Warm up, training exercises improving climbing technique, climbing in pairs. 10. Warm up, bouldering in groups, speed climbing, final stretching. 11. Warm up, activity according to own choice ( bouldreing, climbing with rope, abseiling, Prussik`s technique. Warm up, different kinds of cross climbing, climbing competition, assessment. 13. Assessment of teaching, handing out credits.

Learning outcomes
Goal is get students to feel specific experiences connected with climbing on climbing wall. Students learn about climbing equipment and manage its safe use by climbing and belaying and acquire ground climbing techniques on climbing walls.
After the course the student has basic movement on an artificial wall and safely controls all activities related to climbing (networking, protection, down movement, rappel, commands, etc.)

Assessment methods and criteria

Attending classes in the range of 80%, practical demonstration of the basic techniques of rope and climbing on artificial walls, including rappelling. Test of theory.
