Course content
The course has 3 hours of contact teaching. Topics 1; 5; 6; 7; 14 will be lectured in contact teaching. Other topics will be the subject of independent study on the basis of study aids, compulsory and recommended literature, and especially the study aids listed at: https://moodle.pf.ujep.cz/. Feedback takes place through knowledge testing during consultations. Contact with students is also ensured through the website of the department (https://www.pf.ujep.cz/cs/katedra-telesne-vychovy-a-sportu) and can be specified on the website of the teacher (https: // www .pf.ujep.cz / en / contact / jitka-vaneckova). The school information system is used to record study results. Content of seminars Introduction to the study, course content, credit requirements, study literature, testing of initial swimming skills. 2. Organization and management of basic swimming training, safety. 3. Basic swimming skills - breathing, merging, diving, water games 4. Swimming aids and their use 5. Specifics of training and technique of swimming crawl. 6. Specifics of training and technique of swimming method. 7. Specifics of training and technique of breaststroke. 8. Basic swimming turn. 9. Falls and jumps into the water. 10. Starting jump. 11. Swimming underwater. 12. Safety and rescue at water rescue aids. 13. Used swimming, especially help and rescue in water. 14. Evaluation of teaching, credit test.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to master swimming in terms of motor, functional, health, and partly also didactic. Training and improvement of selected skills and swimming methods is supplemented by activities of pre-swimming preparation of children and the basics of didactics of swimming training. Included is information on the organization of swimming for preschool children, on the issue of cooperation between kindergartens and entities that provide swimming courses for kindergartens.
rokazované znalosti a dovednosti: Student je po absolvování předmětu: - schopen dosáhnout základní výkonnostní úrovně v plaveckých způsobech, - dokáže demonstrovat techniku plaveckých způsobů a dovedností bez závažných chyb, - dokáže definovat klíčová místa v jednotlivých plaveckých cyklech, - prakticky i teoreticky zvládá základy vodního záchranářství, - orientuje se v základní terminologii plaveckého sportu, - využívá nabytých kompetencí pro další případné rozšíření znalostí a dovedností v problematice, má přehled o plaveckých pravidlech dle FINA.
Prerequisites
The student has the basic physical, mental and health prerequisites for completing a swimming course in full without restrictions. Swim breaststroke (crawl) 100m.

Assessment methods and criteria

1) Basic skill to swim 72 m continuously in one swimming way in time: (starting jump is not a condition) Women: 2:30 min. Men: 1:40 min 2) Technically correctly swim 18 m in a swimming way: a) breast b) emblem c) crawl. 3) Used swimming: jump into unknown water, immersion, swimming under water, towing (as help or rescue).
