Course content
Content 1. Type and structure of athletic lessons, principles of development motor skills through athletic activities. 2. Development of motor skills through games and competitions power of legs, arms and chest. 3. Development of motor skills through games and competitions Reactionary, acceleration speed. 4. Development of motor skills through games and competitions joint movement, co-ordinately dexterity skills. 5. Development of motor skills through games and competitions endurance skills. 6. Methodology of training of tiptoe types of running. 7. Methodology of training of stroke types of running. 8. Methodology of training of relay handover, relay games and competitions. 9. Methodology of training of long jump truck jump technique. 10. Methodology of training of throwing a ball. 11. Methodology of training of high jump truck jump method, shearing method. 12. Methodology of training of high jump back method. 13. Methodology of training of hurdling rhythmical skill. 14. Athletic lesson in gym, outside, athletic stadium.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to give the basic knowledge of didactics of Athletics for teaching on the first grade of basic school. The students get to know the methodology of basic athletic disciplines, the most common mistakes in perfoming them and how to eliminate that mistakes. Throughout this course the students get to know how to progress the motoric abilities through the use of athletic exercises for junior pupilage.
Student will be prepared to create and manage athletic lesson on athletic stadium, in natural environment or in gym. Will be able to apply acquisition procedures and evaluation of chosen athletic skills including development of important motor skills and their testing.
Prerequisites
Knowledge and skills of basic athletic disciplines.

1. Delivery of written preparation according to specification and completing a short methodological output on a given topic 2. Successful fulfillment final test (success rate 70%).
