Course content
Introduction to didactics of gymnastics. Introduction to terminology. Preparatory part of physical education. Division of outputs. 2.Stretching exercises. Fitness exercises. Gymnastic preparatory division. Terminology attitudes. 3.Stretching exercises. Rotational preparatory. Preparatory exercises for roll. Terminology of kneeling down. 4.Warm-up with music. Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to show students elements of basic and artistic gymnastic in th first grade of basic school. During the lesson the emphasis is put on the development of pedagogical and didactic knowledge for the leading the lessons. The students get to know the terminology and how to work with technical literature. The emphasis is put on gymnastic exercises which lead to the development of the motoric abilities and skills of the junior pupilage. During the drill of the basic gymnastics element the students learn the correct methodical procedure, diagnostic of the mistakes and their correction.
Student will be able to know the structure of teaching unit, prepare and organize its introduction and ending, will be able to use wide spectrum of knowledge and skills from exercise application and will be able to communicate with practitioners through professional terminology. Student will be able to: - use professional terminology, prepare and realize teaching units, exercises for physical development - show chosen elements of basic gymnastics.

Prerequisite for giving a credit is an active participation in teaching and mastering exercises that are included in the outputs. Management of teaching unit according to pre-specified requirements (including submission of written preparation). Passing a written test on didactics gymnastics and terminology.
