Learning outcomes
Subject creates the basis for other psychological disciplines. It introduces the students with psychology application in the field of nursing and care, the rules of spiritual life, the behaviour and the discourse of an individual with the dynamics and structure of a character. The aim is also to teach basic terminology and problems of general psychology and methodological approaches.
Subject Knowledge: Students have the knowledge of approaching and defining the personality. Students know main theoretical approaches toward the personality based on contentual stress and methodological requirements. Students are able to characterize the periods: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, climax of life and stabilization, ageing and the old age. They know the differences in mental development of a man and a woman. Professional Skills: Student is able tounderstand the specifics of personality in nursing care. Student can apply the knowledge of mental, spiritual, emotional and cognitive development while working with the clients/patients.
