Seminar topics: Week 1: Integrated rescue system, legislation, Organization of pre-hospital emergency care Week 2: General principles and procedures of first aid, algorithm of emergency resuscitation u adult and child. CPR of newborn and immature newborn. Week 3: Head injury. Unconsciousness. Week 4: Injuries to the spine, joints and bones. Week 5: Injuries to the chest and abdomen. Bleeding. Rival. Week 6: Effects of heat and cold on the human body. Corrosion. Electric shock injury. Week 7: First aid in sudden internal conditions. Drowning. Choking. Anaphylactic shock. Injuries animal, insect. Week 8: Dressing technique, wound care, hemostasis. Week 9: Immobilization techniques. Position of the injured. Transport. Week 10: Crass syndrome. Blast syndrome. Poisons. Self-study: Shock and shock states - distribution of shock states, anti-shock measures. Basics of dressing technique, urgent first aid for bleeding. First aid for thermal traumas, electric shock injuries, chemical traumas. Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical - practical and is part of a group of courses based on clinical practice and new European guidelines for resuscitation - the so-called guidelines 2015. Students will acquire knowledge, skills and principles for providing lay and pre-medical first aid for acute and Students are acquainted with clinical conditions that directly threaten human life, including specific procedures that lead to his rescue.

The student demonstrates a broad knowledge of the nature of damage to the body caused by the effects of heat, cold and electricity Professional skills: The student is able to assess the situation and perform a basic examination of the injured, check the basic life functions of the injured, recognize the symptoms that signal a serious health disorder. The student is able to recognize the symptoms of various internal injuries, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to the latest recommended procedures, dressing technique to treat wounds and stop bleeding. The student masters immobilization techniques in case of injuries of joints and bones and is able to put the affected person in the required position and prepare him for transport, recognize the symptoms of the onset of shock and take anti-shock measures.

The requirement for granting the credit will be 80% attendance at lectures and seminars and 85% success in the written test. Credit will take the form of oral, which will verify the student's theoretical knowledge and practical skills in providing first aid.
