Lecture Topics: 1. Basics of oncogynecology 2. Tumors of the uterus 3. Ovarian tumors 4. Tumors of vulva and fallopian tubes 5. Tumors of the breast 6. Endometriosis Basics of urogynecology 7. Inflammations of female reproductive organs Exercise Topics: 1. Caring for a midwife to a woman in a terminal stage; dying phase and mental support. Midwife care for a woman with a bleeding condition 2. Care for a woman with precancerosis and cervix; Midwife care for a woman undergoing little gynecological performance 3. Care for a woman with ca ovary; Midwife care for a woman undergoing major gynecological surgery 4. Midwife care for a woman after laparoscopic surgery; Midwife care for a woman after epidural analgesia 5. Care for a woman with a breast cancer; Midwife care for woman after breast surgery, psychological approach 6. Midwife care for a woman with postoperative complications Midwife care for a woman with incontinence 7. Caring for a midwife with a woman with external genital inflammation; Midwife care for a woman with inflammatory breast disease

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical-practical unit for midwives who care for a woman during her life. The course is a part of a complex of basic vocational subjects for the midwifery field, which acquaints students with the latest findings in the clinical field of gynecology. Great attention is paid to primary prevention, which is an important part of midwife in ensuring women's health in all ages, both in health and disease. From the pathophysiological states, the subject is devoted to those that are crucial to the quality of life of a woman. The knowledge of clinical gynecology, urogynecology, oncogynecology, gynecology of childhood is followed by nursing care, which is provided in the form of a nursing process that respects the individuality and uniqueness of the woman. The aim of the course is the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in real contact with women.
Expertise: The student demonstrates a wide knowledge of oncogynecology, is able to recognize the clinical symptoms of oncological disease of the female reproductive organs. The student demonstrates wide knowledge in the field of operative gynecology, demonstrates wide knowledge in the field of urogynecology. Can recognize clinical signs of inflammatory disease of the female reproductive organs. Professional skills: The student is able to implement the nursing process by a woman in the terminal stage, he/she can implement nursing process by a woman undergoing gynecological surgery, prepare and evaluate the education by a woman undergoing gynecological surgery, evaluate and take care about the surgical wound, prepare and evaluate the education of women with inflammatory disease of reproductive organs and evaluate the education of a woman with urinary incontinence.
