Learning outcomes
The aim of the diploma seminar is to guide students in terms of professional and methodological processing of the diploma thesis and prepare them for its defense. Students are guided to be able to independently work on a written topic and solve professional issues in a clear and logical way (sorting chapters and subchapters, including their designation), to orient themselves in the chosen professional topic, define the problem and its context, clearly summarize existing knowledge to the selected topic from the literature, taking into account the problem, give a clear, critically thought-out interpretation with arguments and own commentary on the interpretation, appropriately and correctly classify, analyze, synthesize and interpret empirical data obtained by own research, apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems (specifications current knowledge in the field of solving the chosen problem, adequate solution methods and their brief description) and in the end evaluate their results, significance and contribution of the diploma task for primary education and draw general recommendations from the practical solution. Emphasis is placed not only on the professional language processing of the work, but also on its graphic design.
