Lecture topics: 1st consultation: 1. The personality of the professional practice teacher. 2. Organization of the subject clinical practice. 3. Didactic methods for teaching clinical practice. 4. Specifics of leading clinical practice at a university, mentoring. 5. Legal regulations governing clinical practice. 2nd consultation: 1. Content of education in clinical practice. 2. Realization of the subject clinical practice. 3. Screening, evaluation and classification of pupils. 4. Target competence of the pupils in the subject. 5. Self-reflection of the pupils. Seminar topics: 3rd consultation: 1. Requirements for practical teaching. 2. Teacher preparation for teaching clinical practice. 3. Organization of teaching. Meaning and use of excursions. 4. Presentation of preparations for teaching clinical practice. Self-study: 1. Pedagogical documents. 2. Objectives of clinical practice. 3. Classification of educational outcomes. 4. Upon finishing the subject students will be oriented in the field of didactics. Students will also gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills which they will be able to apply them to the practical activities as teachers of clinical practice (subject Nursing Patients). Students will apply gained knowledge and skills during teaching practice. The goal of this subject is the ability of future teachers of clinical practice to be well oriented in teaching documents, lead pedagogical documentation and objectively evaluate their students.
Expertise: Student is capable of describing the didactics of subject. Student is able to form educational goals and knows suitable didactic methods for teaching clinical practice. The student is familiar with basic teaching documents and understands the importance of preparing teachers for teaching. Professional skills: The student is able to use teaching methods in a real educational process, is able to keep pedagogical documentation and evaluate students' knowledge and skills. Competences: The student is able to clearly and convincingly communicate to experts and the general public their own professional opinions. |
