Refining Powerpoint Presentation (in-class workshop in the PC room). 12. PowerPoint Presentations (final practical lesson).

Learning outcomes
|
This is an introductory unit for the further development of English writing and speaking for content common to the knowledge base used in health studies courses. Students will be instructed and assisted in the further expansion of their English vocabulary, the writing of different types of sentences and paragraphs, culminating in 5 different paragraphs, a 1-page essay, and an oral Powerpoint presentation of their essay.
Odborné znalosti: Knowledge: Students will have an improved command of a more diverse English vocabulary, with further knowledge of how to write sentences of a different purpose, and to structure paragraphs into a larger essay. Odborné dovednosti: Skills: Students will improve their English expression in writing and speaking across words and topics core to the Health Studies curriculum. Obecné způsobilosti: Competencies: Students will be able to improve their English communication skills with colleagues across the Health Studies professions. Such communication skills will also improve clinical practice with patients and the broader community.
