Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic themes of talent issues, gain insight and greater sensitivity for working with gifted children and inspire students to work with gifted populations of students in schools where they teach or instruct. The subject also provide information and contacts to institutions, professional associations and civic associations that can be used in solving specific problems with gifted dětni the school. Additional resources to increase the level of knowledge in this area will also be provided to students (links to our and international journals, books and other institutions Webb page).
Student is able to characterize changes in the content of the concept of talent, knows the causes of these changes and understand the current legislation governing the work of schools with this population. It is able to design a school system identifying gifted students and to select identification methods. Applies knowledge of the education of gifted students in the educational process of the school.

Passing mandatory psychological courses for 1st and 2nd year of study.

Passing mandatory psychological courses for 1st and 2nd year of study Students have a choice of two types of seminar work: 1) Case study of a gifted pupil according to the instructions given at the seminar, 2) designing a portion of an IEP for gifted pupil, according to the instructions given in the seminar. The scope of work is about 10 pages. Credit is obtained on the basis of the submission of the thesis and its evaluation by the teacher.
