- Subject and history of sport psychology. - Methods of physical education and sports psychology. - Personality of athletes. - Body scheme. Physical self-esteem. - Current mental states in sports. - The regulation means of acute mental states in sport. - Achievement motivation. Aspiration in the sport. - Phases of motor learning. - Selection of sporting talent. Working with talent. - Assertiveness in sports. - Aggression in sport. - Mental hygiene aspects of the sport. - Mental hygiene and relaxation in sport. - Psychomotricity.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide basic information about the field of sport psychology and introduce students to practical use in their personal and professional lives. Students are informed about new trends and research approaches in the field of sport psychology. Students will acquire basic knowledge about the effect of movement, sport and physical education in the human psyche and mental characteristics also influence the development of motor skills and respect of the movement in general. Particular attention is paid to the interpretation of the relationship between psyche and sport movement and quality of life between success and self-concept.
- Student knows, is able to explain the basic concepts in the field of sport psychology. - Student understands patterns of interest in physical activity in the constitution of a person's lifestyle. - Student knows the basic approaches to the impact of physical activity on the human psyche, while psychological characteristics on the development of motor skills. - Student knows the basic relaxation techniques and can use them in the practice of sport.

The prerequisite for entry to the course is previous successful completion of the course General Psychology
