Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the listeners with issues focused mainly on self-knowledge and self-development, knowledge of the relationship between an individual and a small social group of which the individual is a member, familiarization with the possibilities and ways of managing a social group together with the adequate use of means of communication in interaction with the social environment. The lecture system completes the theoretical base of the students and, together with the knowledge gained through self-study, is a prerequisite for successful practical work in the seminars.
The listener knows the issue of the relationship between an individual and a small social group. He is able to recognize and eliminate errors in social perception, analyze the structure of a social group and group dynamics, and is able to use techniques of influence on the positive development of a social group and an individual with a tendency to strengthen his identity, he is able to effectively manage a social group. He masters the principles of effective communication, can analyze communication barriers and adequately use means of communication in interaction with the social environment in accordance with the goals of communication, taking into account pupils requiring special care.

Completion of the subjects Introduction to psychology, Ontogenetic psychology, Pedagogical psychology.
