Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with particular focus on the issue of self-knowledge and self-development, knowledge of the relationship between the individual and small social group of which the individual is a member, acquaintance with the possibilities and ways of managing social groups together with the use of adequate means of communication in interaction with the social environment. The lecture complements the theoretical base of listeners and, together with the knowledge gained self prerequisite for successful practical work in workshops.
Student can explain the problematic of relationship between an individual and social group. He/she can discern from and eliminate mistakes in social perception. He/she analyzes the structure of social group and its dynamics and can use techniques of activity on positive social group and individual development with tendency to reinforce the identity, he/she can effectively manage the social group. He/she handles with principles of effective communication, he/she can analyze communicative barriers and use communicative tools adequately in interaction of social surrounding and accordance with aims of communication.
Prerequisites
Completion of the course Introduction to Psychology and Ontogenetic Psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit requirements: at least 80% active participation in seminars. Student receives credit for mastery of the problem in writing and meeting the specific conditions laid down by the teacher.
