Course content
1. Determination evolution of the human psyche. 2. The developmental processes, patterns of developmental change. 3. Periodization development, developmental specifics of preschool age. 4. Cognitive processes in preschool - perception, imagination, fantasy. 5. Cognitive processes in preschool age - memory, thinking. 6. Development, function and potential for development of attention in preschoolers. 7. Socialization child of preschool age, children's identity development. 8. Emotional development. 9. Game and its importance in the development of preschool age. 10. Children's drawing and its development. 11. Piaget and cognitive development theory. 12. Erikson's theory. 13. Interiorization of social (especially moral) standards, the development of moral reasoning. 14. Child's entry into school, the problem of school readiness and school readiness.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to further deepen their understanding of the process of shaping a human being. The course introduces students to the structure, dynamics and genesis of personality, with different stages of development in human life, intellectual development factors and psychosocial needs of each age period. Students are encouraged to look at the man in terms of understanding the importance of developmental changes and their patterns, depending on the developmental differences among children of preschool age and the possibilities of their education.
Students are able to: identify and define basic developmental processes and specifics of psychological development in preschoolers, explain the differences between the theories of ontogeny of an individual, describe various developmental stages dis- covers in terms of motor, cognitive, emotional, moral and social development, to explain the developmental differences between individuals, is able to distinguish between normal and anormální development of the individual.
