Course content
1. Basics museum legislation. 2. Introduction to the professional care of a museum (building, protection, distribution and presentation). Terminology collecting activities, care of historical objects. Digitization of museum collections. 3. Transformation of knowledge in various fields of teaching systems in selected subjects related to the museum's activities in order to perceive and interpret historical or artistic artefact as a means of educational goals. 4th Publishing and editorial museum activities. 5. The importance of the activities of museums and galleries in school curricula of primary and secondary school preparation in formal education and other groups in lifelong (formal and informal) education. 6th Historical development of museum education in our country and abroad from the beginning until now, the differences in our country and the world. 7th Methodology museum education as a discipline: exhibitions and presentations didactics, educational process at the museum. 8th Application psychodidaktického approach in museum pedagogy, the differences between educated groups, working with ideas, habits, skills and motivation, development of logical thinking. 9. Personal and educational competence museum educator and their application in lecturing, animátorství, educational activity assistive museum collections and artifacts exposed to schools and the public. 10. Specifics of the term "open museum" and "Children's Museum" - changes in the mission of the museum and its educational potential - the contact area between the museum and the school. 11th inclusive museum education, social and educational function of the museum in the community. 12th psycho access to different learners visitor groups (adult, geragogy), including other groups with special educational needs.

Learning outcomes
Methodically seminars are designed so that students gained knowledge related to various aspects of museum and educational and collecting activities, incl. practical experience. During the course are used interactive methods using training teamwork. Students will acquire skills associated with the integration of teaching school subjects to subjects offered by museums, as supplements for primary and secondary school curriculum. Attention is also paid to the educational role of the museum educator at work, communication skills with regard to disparate groups of visitors, individuals and visitors with special needs.
Students will learn the basic functions and activities, both in terms of heritage preservation and presentation of cultural heritage to the public. Students understand the content of museum didactics as the essence of presentation outputs museum to the public; formulates the main and sub-goals museum educational activities, learn the technical terminology; will know the general principles of combining teaching methods and work actively with variable range of visitors can select the appropriate organizational form in relation to the objectives of education and the needs of learners visitor; will be able / sync museum and educational content in relation to the curriculum of schools; uses a variety of teaching methods and resources appropriately according to the needs and requirements of the group is able / a choice according to the principles of caring for collections and their own creation (presentations, worksheets, photographs, collection items); implements the teaching of cross-cutting themes; integrates the knowledge of various scientific disciplines; educational activities contributes to building active citizenship among all groups of learners.
