Course content
1. Child with intellectual talent, characteristics and specific symptoms. 2. Implicit theories, pupil with mathematical talent. 3. Models of talent, types of mathematical talent. 4. Teaching and psychological assessment. Working with the consultant's report. Diagnostic tasks. 5. Integrated pupil with mathematical talent, individual education plan. Pupils with disabilities and gifted, gifted pupils - underachievers. 6. The content and forms of education of mathematically gifted pupil, mistakes in his/her education. 7. Differentiation and individualization in mathematics education, educational offer for gifted pupil, the nearest zone development. 8. Tasks for pupils with mathematical talent in primary school - their properties, form and content. 9. Didactic games and their effective utilization. 10. Creating jobs for talented pupil, the method of problem-posing "what if not ...?". Effective control task difficulty. 11. Support creativity, development of divergent thinking. Tasks with divergent and convergent nature. 12. Pedagogical principles in the education of the gifted. Mistakes in the education of gifted.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the education of intellectually gifted students and not to commit errors in their education, but on the contrary, that giftedness helped develop effectively. Attention is paid to the education of pupils with mathematical talent in primary school. Students will acquire basic knowledge of pedagogical diagnostics mathematical talent, learn about the different approaches to modify the content and form of teaching gifted students. Attention will be focused on creating educational menu selection, creation and solution of appropriate learning tasks, but also to support social inclusion of gifted students. Students will become familiar with useful information sources and learn what methods are effectively utilized when working with gifted students.
Student: - Knows the basic specific manifestations of gifted school children, especially children with mathematical talent, - knows the basic methods and forms of work with gifted student, - is able to work with the consultant's report as individual education plan pupil, - can create the appropriate mathematical tasks for gifted pupil and integrate them into the educational offer.
