Learning outcomes
Subject Current problems in the field builds on the knowledge acquired by students during their studies, and in the context of current social changes and new knowledge in the field of teaching mathematics introduces students to current problems in teaching mathematics. Special emphasis is placed on linking new knowledge and knowledge of mathematical and other social science disciplines. With the increase in socio-cultural and cognitive heterogeneity in mainstream schools and in accordance with the principle of differentiation and individualization attention is paid to the education of students with special needs. The seminar also discussed the possibility of specific examples and application of differentiation and individualization in teaching mathematics.
Student: - Knows the basic specifics of teaching mathematics for pupils with special educational needs and exceptionally gifted pupils, pupils from different socio-cultural environment, - Can develop the expected output from the fields of mathematics and its applications in the FEP to the partial outputs and specific tasks for the student, - Can create complex math problem, which are taken into account cross-cutting themes and interdisciplinary relations, - Can choose or create math problem and appropriate for students with varying levels of cognitive abilities.
