1. Intercultural communication as a phenomenon. 2. Current state of intercultural education of foreign students. 3. Effect of cross-cultural differences on the educational climate in the classroom. 4. Education of foreigners in Czech schools. Interpretations of the law school. Multicultural education on the FEP. Learning outcomes
Discipline is intended for students who want to deepen their teaching skills for teaching foreign students in the multicultural classroom in primary school. The course builds on the discipline of contemporary Czech language, pedagogy and psychology, with which the students met during their studies. The aim of the course is to inform students about the latest results of research aimed at learning the target language and its teaching with respect to the internal language, cross-language and extra-linguistic relations, according to the latest requirements of primary education from the perspective of the teacher and the needs of foreign students. Students will learn important information on current principles of European language policy, the European model of teaching foreign languages ??and its application to educational practice in primary schools in the Czech Republic. This knowledge will enable them insight into the problems of methods and a psycholinguistic which solves the Czech language teacher in their practice in a multicultural classroom. Students will learn to select appropriate methodology and independently create appropriate exercise of the Czech language to work with foreign pupils.
In the field of knowledge to student well versed in the field of intercultural communication and intercultural education in the Czech environment, is able to explain and describe the principles of European language policy principles inclusion of foreign pupils in the Czech education system and cross-cultural differences impact on the educational climate in the classroom. Didactic knowledge will enable the student correctly describe the most common linguistic and cultural barriers in the integration of foreign pupils in primary education, justify and analyze issues specific educational climate in the multicultural classroom. At the same time able to evaluate the significance of Czech as a target language for the personal development of the student-foreigner in primary education. In the area of skills listener can design and evaluate specific methods and forms of work in the Czech language lessons for working with foreign pupils in the multicultural classroom, choose adequate methodological procedures that will lead to the elimination of language and cultural barriers in the class and able pupil stranger to successful Czech domination. Students can detect, analyze and correct errors in the speeches of foreign students, creating for them the appropriate language and stylistic exercises. Can correctly fix the spoken and written language expression pupil foreigners and evaluate it in the Czech language.

Assessment methods and criteria

Ability to apply knowledge of linguistic, pedagogical and psychological disciplines in teaching practice. Credit requirements: active participation in joint consultation, the development of two exercises (one grammatical and stylistic one for foreign pupils) per hour Czech language and imitation at the seminar, one proofreading dictation pupil foreigners evaluation, portfolio preparation for the final examination. Written processing of selected tasks identified in the study support that is available to http://cestinaprocizince.ujep.cz/lmssoc/. 1. Development of the two exercises (one grammatical and stylistic one for foreign pupils) per hour Czech language. 2. Developing a proofreading dictation pupil foreigners evaluation. 3. Preparation of the portfolio at the SFE. The condition for the successful completion of the course is active participation in joint consultation (100% attendance). Written communication with the teacher takes place via e-mail (jaromira.sindelarova@ujep.cz). On the basis of a positive evaluation after meeting the above criteria will be awarded to the student credit (control study). Written processing of selected tasks identified in the study supports.
