1. Human sexuality - basic terms 2. History of sexuality (human sexuality in different stages, cultures and religions of the world) 3. Tabooed and open sexual education. Age specificities of the sexual education in childhood and adolescence. 4. Sexual education in the education systems of Europe and in the Czech Republic - The issue of sexual education in Framework Educational Programme for Elementary school (RVP ZV) 5. Didaktics of sexual education: "How to talk with children about sex" 6. Biological basics of human fertility. Human reproductive health. Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) 7. Parenthood. Planning of the parenthood. Risks of abortion, moral and ethical problems. 8. The tradition and the present in the partner relationships. Functional and dysfunctional families. 9. Ontogenesis of human sexuality (development of sexual identification, orientation and sexual behaviour). Homosexuality. 10. Sexual deviation and delinquency - selected chapters of the Criminal Code. 11. Syndrome CSA. Commercial sexual abuse of children. Protection of children against sexual abuse. 12. Sexuality of people with disabilities and mental retardation, prevention of abuse of children with special needs. 13) Didactics of sexual education - "How to teach children to be careful" 14) Personality of the teacher and his prerequisites for the implementation of school sexual education.

Learning outcomes
|
The course provides the basic professional knowledge in the area of human sexuality in all its dimensions (biological, mental, spiritual, emotional, social and cultural aspects). It shows the development of the sexual identification, orientation and sexual behaviour. It provides basic information about sexual deviations and about problems of the sexual delinquency. It deals with the tradition and the presence of partner relationships. It provides methodological instructions for sexual education at school. Understanding of the importance of the sexuality in human life in the broadest sense, of the care for reproductive health and of the protection of children from sexual abuse is stressed.
The student will be able to carry out sexual education that will be acceptable for families with different world views, with special emphasis on the protection of sexual abuse of children.
